ML-P Magnetic trap
The ML-P pipeline plate magnet is used for the separation of iron contaminants from fast-flowing (up to 25 m/s) and relatively difficult-to-flow or chunky materials (especially liquid or semi-liquid, but also powder ones). The advantage of this separator is that it is able to clean liquid materials even with the content of larger pieces of solid particles or fibers. This separator is also suitable for abrasive materials which would damage finger-style magnetic traps.
Design of the magnetic trap ML-P
This magnetic separator is connected to the client's pipeline system by flanges. In order to achieve the maximum effectiveness of the separation process, the material is directed onto the magnetic plates (placed in the separator's doors) by a dispersion cone (situated at the separator entrance). The dispersion cone ensures maximum separation efficiency, however, if necessary (e.g. when cleaning very difficult-to-flow materials), the dispersion cone can be removed in an easy and quick way.
Cleaning mode
After interrupting the material flow, the magnetic doors can be opened and the contaminants trapped on the magnetic door are removed by wiping (or the door can also be rinsed with pressure water). As the doors move on guiding rods, the cleaning is easy and comfortable (even in case of large separators).
Connection possibilities
ML-P trap magnets are supplied with flanges (in diameters from 100 to 250 mm) and resist a pressure of up to 10 bar. However, we can also adjust the flange type as well as the separator size to client's specific requirements, the pressure resistance of the separator can be also increased etc.
