MT Bullet magnet
The MT magnetic separator (also referred to as a 'cartridge' magnet due to its core shape) is ideal for removing tramp iron from bulk materials of even worse bulk properties (such as granular feed, plastic granulate, sawdust, powder materials in the ceramic industry etc.) that tend to clog common types of grid separators.
Design of the air-vey magnet MT
This magnetic separator is usually connected to the client's vertical or near vertical transport system by flanges. The conical magnet is located in the middle of the flowing material and there are special guide strips within housing. These guide strips direct the material flow from the outer casing onto the magnetic core (placed in the lower part of the magnetic cone). Since both the dividing cone and the separator shell are of a circular shape, an even and continuous material flow through the separator body can be achieved. The circular shape of the separator with its centrally located magnetic cone is a suitable solution not only for vertical but also lightly inclined piping systems.
Cleaning mode
This separator is equipped with an easy cleaning system that allows easy and fast removal of trapped ferromagnetic particles. After opening the trunking door, the magnetic core is taken out of the central cone and the ferromagnetic particles (captured on the surface of the stainless steel cone) fall off spontaneously.
The separator door is usually closed by means of quick action catches. Optionally this separator can be delivered with a safety electromagnetic lock.
