MS-MC Hump magnet
The magnet chutes MS-MC provide a simple and effective way to remove tramp iron contamination from dry, free flowing products in pipelines with a maximum inclination of 40 ° from the vertical.
We supply this plate-type magnet in both ferrite and neodymium versions (in various design modifications according to clients' needs).
Design of the hump magnet MS-MC
The essential part of every hump magnet MS-MC is a magnetic plate with an easy cleaning system (so that the captured ferromagnetic particles can be easily removed). The ferrous particles are attracted and held to the face of the extraction stainless steel plate (protecting the magnetic cores). When cleaning the separator, the magnetic system is slid out of the pipeline. Then the magnetic core is moved away from the extraction plate and the ferromagnetic particles, captured on the surface of the extraction plate until that moment, fall off spontaneously due to gravitation. There is an angled steel step (so called tapered step) on the extraction plate which intensifies the magnetic field and once captured, ferrous metal migrates behind the step and is protected from carrying away by the material flow.
